The AmBank Childcare Centre was conceived to support one of the most meaningful transitions in working life, returning to the workplace after parenthood.

Commissioned by AmBank (M) Berhad as part of its commitment to employee wellbeing and talent retention, the centre was designed to provide a safe, nurturing and development-focused environment for young children below formal schooling age, while allowing parents to remain closely connected throughout the day.

ISD approached the project with a strong emphasis on emotional comfort, early childhood engagement and spatial warmth, creating an environment that feels playful, reassuring and uplifting for both children and parents alike.

Bright, welcoming interiors are combined with thoughtfully planned activity zones, interactive learning spaces and child-friendly environments that encourage curiosity, creativity and exploration within a secure setting.

Beyond functionality, the centre was designed to create confidence and peace of mind, helping working parents ease back into professional life knowing their children are cared for within a safe, engaging and supportive environment nearby
